I am an angel investor with over 300 portfolio companies. Early on, I was not very disciplined with my investment decisions. I co-invested with experienced angels and VC funds to try and learn the ropes. I had some early success, but I really needed a framework to formalize my process.

I developed VScore to provide that framework and to add rigor into my own investment process. Personally, it has helped me cut through the noise of heavy deal flow, charming founders, and compelling stories.

VScore quickly turned into a conversation starter with fellow investors and founders. It is also a lively source of debate. VScore is definitely not perfect, but as a framework it is more often right than wrong.
